Blackbox is a new independent, gritty-sheik, all inclusive live entertainment venue located catty-corner from the Sugar Creek light rail station. Join us for a show and see what Charlotte has been raving about!
With a main room that holds over 1000, an amphitheater that holds over 2000 and a concert lot that holds over 5000! Blackbox is sure to have an event that will get your heart going and your moves flowing!

Our full bars generally feature Beer, Mixed Drinks and Non-Alcoholic beverages. We have a wide selection that will have something tasty for everyone!
Check Your Stuff
Blackbox has coat check at the door and rentable lockers so you can keep your purse, valuables, jackets and that awesome new artist merch you scored safe and convenient to access when you want it.

We know sometimes you just need a smoke or a vape! We have an outdoor smoking patio just for you. Keep it legal (marijuana has not yet been legalized in NC) and enjoy the outdoor air at the same time. It’s also a great place to have a convo away from the music!
